Background of the study

Statement of the problem
Despite the potential of cultural entrepreneurship to stimulate economic development in Rivers State, many cultural entrepreneurs struggle with inadequate funding, insufficient market access, and regulatory obstacles. These challenges hinder the scaling of culturally rooted businesses and limit their broader economic impact. The lack of supportive policies and investment frameworks often results in underutilized cultural assets, reducing the overall potential for sustainable economic growth. A comprehensive evaluation is needed to understand these barriers and develop strategies that effectively integrate cultural heritage with entrepreneurial innovation.
